Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of VDS Pro. By signing up or using the simulator, you agree to them. They are deliberately short and readable; if anything is unclear, email support@vdspro.net and we'll explain.

Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secret and for what happens under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account directly. Younger learners must use an account managed by a school or guardian.
• One person, one account. You may not share an account with another person.

Subscriptions and refunds

• Free trials run for the period stated when you sign up; we'll email you before the trial ends.
• Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account or by emailing us.
• Refunds for unused subscription time are at our discretion. Contact us within 14 days of a charge if you have an issue and we'll review it.
• Organisation seats and any future add-on content are billed via Stripe. The amount, currency, and tax are shown at checkout.

Acceptable use

Don't use VDS Pro to:

• Break the law, infringe someone else's rights, or harm others.
• Reverse-engineer the simulator or any client we ship beyond what is permitted by law.
• Probe, scan, or attack the service. Responsible disclosure is welcome — email us first.
• Resell access without our written permission.

Intellectual property

We retain all rights to the VDS Pro software, name, and content. You retain rights to anything you create using the service (e.g. your progress data, custom assessment templates you author). When you submit content via assessments or org tooling, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it as needed to operate the service.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee zero downtime. Maintenance windows will be announced where reasonable. We are not liable for downstream losses caused by outages.

Liability

VDS Pro is a training aid, not a real driving licence. We do not certify you as a competent driver. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for anything related to the service is capped at what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination

You can close your account at any time at /account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms; we will give notice and a chance to fix things where reasonable.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when. For material changes we'll email active subscribers.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring claims in their country of residence.
